San fernando Cebu Location : 23.3 km. Town Fiesta : May 14 - 15. Patron Saint : St. Isidro the Worker  We celebrated Sikoy-Sikoy festival for out Patron. Sikoy-Sikoy is taken from the word panikoy- a fishing method. They believe that it symbolizes strength of character, like the people of their town .Ever since it became an independent parish in 1858, the only religious structure that existed was made of light materials. It was in 1870 that the current church was started however, probably due to lack of funds, it was only finished in 1886. The Gothic design is meant to give the church a majestic appearance.

The Shrine of the MOST HOLY TRINITY is located in a 17,345.00 square meter lot in the southern part of Cebu. The place is overlooking the sea. On the left side of the Shrine is a deep ravine. The idea of building up the shrine came up when a generous benefactor offered to donate the 7543 square meter lot to the Trinitarian Handmaids of the Divine Word. With the advice of their Bishop Protector, Most Rev. Antonio R. Tobias, D.D. to buy the one - hectare lot near it, Mother Elena O. Suico, THDW, the Founder of the Trinitarian Handmaids of the Divine Word and the Holy Trinity Home for Children, fervently prayed together with the Sisters and God gave them 3 generous benefactors who helped them bought the lot. Mother Elena encountered several problems while in the process of negotiating with the owner in buying the lot but it did not stop her from pursuing her ardent desire to have the land in order to a bigger site for the Holy Trinity Shrine. Thanks be to God, the Vicar General, Sister Lucia G. Santos, THDW wisely and with great faith executed her visions and plan.
